                        About Me

I'm Amir Behbahanian, a Senior Software Engineer and Machine Learning Expert with 12+ years of experience in designing and scaling large-scale distributed systems, machine learning pipelines, and simulation-driven AI solutions.
Currently, I work as a Software Engineer at Blue Origin, building a multimodal AI-based manufacturing automation platform that combines text and image generation to streamline work order creation. I integrate physics-based simulations into AI pipelines, embedding domain-specific knowledge into work order generation.
Previously, I served as a Senior Software Engineer at Dyno Nobel, where I designed and deployed cloud-based mining blast simulators and implemented RAG systems for internal documentation. I also worked as a Software Engineer at T.D. Williamson, developing distributed predictive maintenance systems and real-time computer vision models. I hold a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Utah State University.
